Papua New Guinea is ranked 160 out of 193 countries in terms of human development. The Vision 2050 aspires for Papua New Guinea to be in the top 50 in terms of human development, by 2050.
On the 50th anniversary of our country’s independence, the Marape - Rosso Government initiated Reset, a 50-year review and 20 year roadmap, with some short term and long-term interventions. A Delivery Unit was established to progress ten Big Bets and 43 Quick Wins. Five main Principles were established. This media campaign will attempt explain them and stimulate discussion through a series of questions.
These Principles are:
P1 Protecting the Sanctity and Integrity of the Constitution,
P2 Advancing Human Development and the Family,
P3 Leveraging Data & Evidence for Decision Making,
P4 Enabling Smart, Sustainable & Inclusive Growth,
P5 Ensuring Accountability, Transparency & Impact.
